Do not fall for the "cute little bird" act. Meet the Little Green Mafia, better known as the orange-chinned parakeet or periquito. There's no questioning the fact that they're adorable, and they seem to know it well. The problem is, once one of these guys shows up, a bunch of his friends will soon follow, and before long, you've got a green gang aggressively policing "their" new spot, chasing away anyone else who tries to land and scarfing down every last bit of food they can find. Copious amounts of screeching, flapping, and biting may also occur.
But yes, they're cute, there's no doubt about it. Does this one almost look like he's shooting the camera a wise-guy expression, knowing full well that despite the adorable first impression, he's up to no good and proud of it? I certainly think so.
