The print-edition magazine was late in arriving thanks to the Canada Post strike, but I'm happy to say that my image "Double Dip" of two green-winged teal hens took home a jury commendation in the 2024 QuébecOiseaux photo contest. Stop in to the Café de l'Île at the Marguerite D'Youville Wildlife Refuge in Châteauguay, QC for some holiday cuisine after a nature walk, and you can pick up some of the birds I've photographed there while you're visiting! Héritage Saint-Bernard has kindly offered to display a selection of my greeting cards in their boutique. The results are in for BPOTY 2023, and my weekend trip to the Adirondacks in the winter of 2022 made a serious impression! "Coming Storm" won BRONZE in the Best Portrait Category and was also selected for publication in the competition's annual coffee table book (available here).
