Horned Lark at Sunset

In the coldest months of winter, horned larks forage in the frozen fields south of Montreal, where passing plows have heaped up piles of snow from the road. This one climbed right to the top of one of the snowbanksand helpfully framed himself in my viewfinder, right as the sunset was at its most colorful.
