A Wilson's warbler on a mossy branch in British Columbia.

Wilson's Warbler

Victoria, British Columbia

A male Wilson's warbler perches on a mossy tree branch on Vancouver Island, British Columbia at the beginning of the spring migration season. In between rounds of coffee and dodging some typical PNW rain showers, we got a few looks at the Wilson's warbler when he wasn't busy running off everything else out of his territory. Dark overcast meant some slow shutter speeds, but it was no problem for a mirrorless camera.
