Sunrise Sprint
Tierra Verde, Florida
Reddish egrets prefer to chase after their prey instead of making like a great egret or great blue heron and letting the fish simply come to them. I captured this image shooting into the sunrise at Fort DeSoto Park in Saint Petersburg, where there's almost always one of these birds on the hunt at any given time.
