Red Knot

There are some birds that require careful stalking, staying hidden, not making any noise, and doing whatever possible to minimize your presence so that they don't scare off. And then, there are birds like this red knot, who would have probably tolerated me taking pictures while letting off grenades. It only took about a minute or two of approach, and I was almost lying in the water with him.
