Orange-chinned Parakeet

Viewed from side-on, the orange-chinned parakeet doesn't seem to have much of an orange chin, but the same color present in the wings is just barely visible as a little dark patch under the beak. A flock of ten or so of these little green guys was more than generous with the pose and perch offerings during my 2024 visit to Sarapiquí.
